Junipalooza Melbourne 2019 Update
In light of the the changed circumstances surrounding Junipalooza Melbourne 2019, we have emailed all ticket holders, exhibitors and updated the site to reflect the new venue. What follows is a broader statement explaining so that those who missed it (or not directly involved but curious and commenting) can find out more information about the status of the show:
Dear Junipalooza Guests,
As many of you are aware, our planned venue for this year has had some structural issues and is likely to remain closed for an undetermined amount of time as both government contractors and venue owners work to resolve the issues with the Pier.
Due to the circumstances, The Atlantic Group has released us from the venue. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank them for their support for the fully sold out event and their handling of what is a difficult time for all.
Knowing that this was a possibility, since last Wednesday we have been working tirelessly to ensure that the show will go on. Nothing will dampen our spirit, and nothing will get in the way of celebrating the amazing makers and their fantastic gins we have lined up for you.
We are pleased to announce that we will be moving this year’s event just down the road to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Tickets do not need to be swapped or updated with new information and remain valid, the times for the sessions have not changed and the three sessions will take place as planned. Ticket holders do not need to do anything, although we are happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Please email Info@GinFoundry.com to do so.
The only difference is the venue that you need to head to! The full address is: 1 Convention Centre P South Wharf VIC 3006 – 10 minutes walk away from what was originally planned.
We would like to apologise for the inconvenience this move may cause, it was unfortunately completely out of our control. If for any reason this means that attending Juniplaooza is no longer feasible for you, please contact us and we will issue an immediate refund.
Over the coming weeks, we will announce more of the line up of Ginsmiths, release a floor plan as well as make the show guide available digitally ahead of time so that you can plan your journey and your Junipalooza experience.
All of this information will also be available on www.juniplaooza.com.
We would like to thank the many of you who have been wishing us well and offering your help – your support and encouragement has been truly humbling to see. We’d also like to thank the exhibitors for their patience and faith in our ability to organise and alternative at the 11th hour. With flights, travel, licences and logistics all already organised and booked in for many, we appreciate just how much goes into participating and how much of that had already begun – making this a stressful scenario for all.
With so much more to come in the weeks ahead, we will for now simply raise a glass in anticipation of seeing you all soon and hosting another spectacular Junipalooza.
