The line up of Junipalooza masterclasses has now been confirmed, and we pleased to present a series of talks, panels and insight that’s set to satisfy your inner gin geek!
As always over the Junipalooza weekend, masterclasses taking place on the hour, every hour. The aim? To provide super-geeky, category wide insight around a specific topic. These 20 minute sessions are in-depth, wide-reaching and (of course) are very sample oriented! Perfect for a bit of learning and continued sipping….

12.00 – FUTURE OF AUSSIE GIN
Bringing together the best and brightest minds involved with Australian Ginsmithery for this ultimate panel, we ponder the future for gin Down Under. From trends to future forecasting and debating in-between, expect strong opinions, big ideas and bold predictions.
13.00 – NATIVE BOTANICALS
78 Degrees founder Sacha La Forgia will lead you through a hands-on tour of native botanicals. With such diverse native flora at their disposal, what do distillers look to in order to create their signature profiles? From lemon myrtle to green ants, nothing is off the menu…
14.00 – THE GREAT BRITISH BOOZE OFF
Insight, anecdotes and samples – this is a one-stop shop to get to know more about what life is like behind the scenes on the other side of the world. We’ve brought over a couple of gins that embody the best of what’s going on in the UK. This is an exclusive opportunity to try a couple of gins currently not YET available in the country.
17.00 – EUROPEAN GIN
In this 20 minute discussion, you will be introduced to some of the amazing makers who have flown in to showcase their gins and talk about what makes them tick. And, of course, there will be tasty samples along the way!
18.00 – COLLABORATIVE DISTILLING
The Four Pillars team have come armed with their most exclusive of gins… those made in collaboration with other distillers and bars. Not only will you get to taste these epic experiments, you’ll hear about how these projects formed and their reasons for collaborating.
19.00 – CHOOSING A GARNISH FOR YOUR G&T
To accentuate, compliment or contrast? There are many ways to accent your G&T to perfectly suit your taste buds, but how do you go about choosing the best combination? Caroline Childerley discusses a few rules of thumb and shares some ideas on how to be adventurous whilst also harnessing the nuances of the inherent gin that lies beneath.
Masterclasses are a great opportunity to further your journey of Gin discovery, all the while resting those tired, exploring feet. Just remember that places are free but they are limited and available on a first come, first served basis, so take at look at the schedule and get there a little early to grab a seat and avoid disappointment.
