Imaginarium at Callooh Callay
Most people are creatures of habit and therefore it’s no surprise that we always find ourselves drawn to our favourite drinks on the menu. This is no bad thing, but sometimes picking the same drinks over and again can take that element of discovery, and sense of adventure out of a night out. When was the last time you tried something new and couldn’t stop thinking about it? When was the last time you had to ask the bartender what was in your drink and how you could make it at home?
With this in mind, Bombay Sapphire haven taken a temporary residency at the holy grail of all cocktail clubs, Callooh Callay – to showcase a few serves that spark guests inner creativity.
Bombay’s residency aims to reawaken visitor’s imagination and inspire them to be a little more courageous with their cocktail choices, both when ordering at the bar and experimenting at home.
The event will be hosted by Rich Woods, head of Spirit and Cocktail Development at London’s Duck & Waffle and winner of Bombay Sapphire’s 2014’s World’s Most Imaginative Bartender Competition.
The pop-up bar will feature imaginative and unique cocktails, something Rich is well-known for with his winning cocktail the ‘Blue Cheese & Chocolate Martini’ which will also be available to try.
Bombay Sapphire’s Brand Ambassador Sean Ware will also be on-hand to host a series of workshops designed to help visitors sharpen-up their own cocktail making skills. He will also pass-on his knowledge on how to create imaginative cocktails at home using only 10 ingredients to create hundreds of recipe possibilities.
Open from Monday 19th May – Saturday 24th May from 6pm nightly.
Masterclasses will be taking place from 6pm-7pm, Wednesday 21st May and Thursday 22nd May and are free of charge.
